If you’ve already visited the boudoir portraits or the classic portraits pages, you’ll have seen that the first step towards your portrait session is a complimentary consultation. You may be wondering what the consultation is or how it works. Here’s everything you need to know about a boudoir or portrait consultation.

If you don’t find the answer to your question here, please feel free to email me

If I schedule a consultation, am I obligated to move forward with my boudoir or portrait session?

Absolutely not!  The consultation is simply a time for us to meet, either in person or via Zoom. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions that you may have about the portrait or boudoir process and get a feel for how your session will work.  You’ll also be able to see my studio and learn more about the I offer.

At the end of the consultation, you decide if you’d like to move forward. If so, we’ll set a date and reserve your session on my calendar. And if you feel like my portrait or boudoir sittings aren’t right for you, that’s totally fine. There’s zero obligation to setting up a consultation and you’ll never be bothered with any follow-up emails or calls.

Where do I go for my consultation?

That is up to you – you’ve got two great options to choose from.

In-Person Consultation

You can visit my lovely studio located at Hurstbourne and 64 in Louisville. This will give you a chance to see the studio in-person and see a selection of my portraits in real life. You’ll also get to check out my studio wardrobe and reserve any pieces you’d like to use in your session.

Online Consultation

If you’d rather meet online, you can schedule your consultation for a zoom meeting.

Both options are a great way for you to learn more about my work and sessions and ask any questions you have!

How long is the consultation?

On average, a consultation lasts 15 to 20 minutes.  But there’s no hard and fast rule – you’ll have as much time as you want to look around and ask questions.

What if I need to reschedule my consultation?

Sometimes things come up!

If you need to reschedule your consultation, no problem.  Simply contact me and let me know you need to change your appointment.

If possible, please give 24 hours notice so I can release your consultation appointment.

SCHEDULE YOUR CONSULTATION

Ready to schedule your zero-obligation consultation? Simply select in-studio or via Zoom.  Then pick your day and time.

During this consultation, we’ll discuss how you’d love to be photographed. I’ll explain my process, go through pricing and the products I offer, and answer any questions you have.
