That’s why I photograph all professional headshots on white or grey. Both keep the focus exactly where it should be and never compete with your face.
This also gives you far more flexibility when you use your images. Clean backgrounds make it easy to add text, graphics, or cropping for different platforms without anything looking messy.
For corporate teams, white or grey also keeps your branding consistent and future proof. Outdoor headshots might look nice in the moment, but the background changes with every season. White and grey never do, so when a new hire joins the team six months later, their image fits right in.
