My studio is conveniently located in the Plainview Village Shopping Center at 9940 Linn Station Road, Louisville, KY 40223, right off Hurstbourne Parkway and I-64.
If you’re in Louisville or nearby areas like St. Matthews, Jeffersontown, Middletown, or Anchorage, it’s an easy drive. Many of my headshot clients also travel from Lexington, Frankfort, and Southern Indiana for their sessions.
You’ll find me between Derby City Pizza and Surge Staffing in the same plaza.
Will you come to our office
For larger teams, it often makes sense for me to bring the studio to you for the initial round of headshots. After that, as new attorneys come one board, you can simply schedule a session for them in my studio.
Do you offer scheduling for new hires?

My name is Ben Marcum. I’ve been photographing professionals in Louisville since 2013, with a strong focus on attorneys and other high-credibility fields.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent 20 years working in professional theatre as a sound designer. That background shaped how I approach portraiture today. I pay attention to subtle details. Expression. Posture. Presence. The small shifts that change how someone is perceived.
Attorneys, in particular, require a specific balance. Authority without arrogance. Approachability without looking casual. Confidence without looking staged.
That balance does not happen by accident.
I studied under world-renowned headshot photographer Peter Hurley and became the first Associate Photographer in his training program in this region. I later served as a mentor within that program. Over the years, I’ve worked with professionals who understand that image plays a role in how they are evaluated long before a meeting begins.
My approach is structured and efficient. Sessions are guided. Lighting and background are consistent. The goal is not to create something trendy. The goal is to create a professional image that will hold up for years.
